CCM Semi-Formal

Familiar faces crowd the room, men and women dressed to the nines, laughter brings old and new friends together in unity, a new tradition has begun: CCM’s first annual semi-formal event.

On March 23, 2019 CCM held its very first semi-formal event that turned out to be a major success! The event, held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, was a time of celebration for a wonderful year and hope for even better years to come.

While CCM has numerous social events each semester, this one was a new addition that many seemed to enjoy. Thu Le, a senior, particularly enjoyed the event.

“Semi-formal was such a wonderful time to dance and have fun with friends,” Said Le. “It’s so nice to see everyone dressing up and having a great time.”

The event featured a slideshow presentation running throughout with pictures of the year and a “memory jar” for people to write down their most cherished memories with the CCM community during this school year. People were able to spend time reminiscing while starting a new tradition for the future.
